Community Solar Projects

Aim High Solar was chosen to install a new solar system on the UCCS Sustainability House; a residence on campus that will showcase sustainable strategies such as xeriscape, energy efficiency, solar and more.   As part of the installation, Aim High Solar paired up with Solar Energy International (SEI) (a non-profit solar trade school here in CO.) to put on a 6-day class to teach solar energy fundamentals for 15 UCCS students.  As part of the installation Aim High built mock roofs to teach students how to install footer attachments, provided safety briefing’s and demo’s, and gave a lecture on the installation/permitting process.
