About 3,500 openings for solar photovoltaic installers are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Aim High Solar wants to be part of helping veterans transition into this exciting career field full of growth opportunities.

Here at Aim High Solar we were the company chosen to install a new solar system on the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs (UCCS) Sustainability House; a residence on campus that showcases sustainable strategies such as xeriscape, energy efficiency, solar and more.
As part of the installation, Aim High Solar paired up with Solar Energy International (SEI), a non-profit solar trade school in Paonia, Colorado to put on a 6-day class to teach solar energy fundamentals for 15 UCCS students.
As part of the installation Aim High Solar built mock roofs to teach students how to install footer attachments, provided safety briefing’s and demonstration’s, and gave a lecture on the installation and permitting process.
